Une pièce très spéciale pour les bébés avec des branchages blancs et des lumières discrètes. Chut! on dort...

Here is the baby room with white branches and subdued lights. Hush! The babies are sleeping...

Un petit tour au premier étage pour découvrir la collection chaussures... et le sapin revu et corrigé. Ah, quelle chance les cadeaux sont déjà. Une pièce paisible pour essayer tranquillement une nouvelle paire de chaussures.

Let's go upstairs to discover the shoe collection and the modern Christmas tree. Bonpoint children are lucky; the Christmas gifts are here. It's a perfect quite room to try on new shoes.

Bonpoint a aussi pensé aux plus grandes en leur réservant une pièce au coeur du flagship avec une cabine d'essayage impressionnante et pour Noel une pluie d'étoiles.

There is also a special room for girls with an amazing fitting room and many stars to celebrate Christmas.

Et pour celles qui partent vers des horizons plus chauds, une collection estivale les attend.

And, there is also the cruise collection if the children need to travel for the upcoming holiday.

Dans la dernière pièce, les garçons, eux, sont entourés d'animaux alors qu'ils veillent sur leur chateau fort que vous pourrez acheter pour Noel.

In the last room, the boys are surrounded by many animals and a special fortified castle that can be bought for Christmas.

Et la star c'est bien lui, recouvert cette année de rouge. Il faut bien aller jusqu'au bout du magasin pour ne pas manquer l'animal!

And, here is the star! It has been dressed in red this year...not to be missed!

Promenade de Noel chez Bonpoint

C'est l'histoire de Peau d'Ane qui est mise en scène en vitrine et à l'intérieur du flagship de Bonpoint, rue de Tournon à Paris. Une histoire merveilleusement bien racontée; Bonpoint a réussi à nous plonger au coeur de ce conte.

Once upon a time, Donkeyskin at the Bonpoint Parisian flagship... The French fairy tale is perfectly told in the window and inside the store as if you were part of it.

Dès l'entrée, les souris, les petites maisons et les vêtements, suspendus à des liens de satin colorés, ne manquent pas de donner le ton.

On the hall wall, clothes, birdcages and mice are hung from satin colorful ribbons. It's the first step...

Entrons dans la première pièce avec en central une superbe table décorée de sublimes branchages pour exposer parfums, bougies et petits ours en peluche.

Let's start the tour... In the middle of the first room, there is this special table with fabulous branches: the perfect spot to display the perfumes and the candles.

Et au centre, la cabane où tourne constamment la robe de Peau d'Ane sur fond musical. Quelle ambiance! On a envie de rentrer dans cette cabane en bois et d'y rester ... Revenez demain pour la suite de la visite!

Inside this hut, the Donkeyskin dress rotates and the music makes people think of the fairy tale. The atmosphere is fabulous; I feel like going inside and stay here looking at the dress and listening to the music...To be continued tomorrow!

L'interview chez Fortnum and Mason

Paul Symes worked at Selfridges for 12 years. Then, he started at Fortnum & Mason as a free lance consultant. Little by little, he took this position three years ago.
1- What’s a window for you ?
A window is like a painting ; it’s a one thing.
You stop and you think in front of a great display. It’s not an education ; it’s just beautiful !
2- Is there any special way to create a window in London ?
I could say that here we are allowed to choose. None tells us what we have to put in a window.
We show people what they can expect inside the store instead of showing everything.
3- Where do you find your inspiration ?
Most of the inspiration comes from natural thinking. Last Spring, I thought of flowers eating a pie because of its form ! We also have team meetings to share our ideas. Things become bigger!
4- What’s your favorite season to create windows ?
I love Fall ! There are many colors and changes. The evenings become darker and creating windows makes people feel warm. It’s a magic season !

5- What windows are you fan of ?
I like Bergdorf displays for the details, Barneys for the humor and Selfridges for fun. I also like Anthropologie, Ralph Lauren, Galeries Lafayette and many boutiques in Paris.
6- What’s the trend for the holiday windows ?
I think it’s less about saving ! Holiday windows display more things ; there is more opulence and accumulation.
7- So, lets’ talk about Fortnum & Mason holiday windows…
We decided the theme of this year together with three other people in charge of other areas of the store. The best way for us to interprete the trends was the story of the Swan Lake. Every year, we create six windows that explain a traditional story. Then, we also find this story inside the store.This year, you can find feathers inside to go on with the window story. We started working on this theme one year ago !
8- What do you enjoy the most in your job ?
I enjoy setting in a window, with no phone and no meetings, doing groups. I like dressing windows ; it’s my best therapy !

L'ampoule colorée s'installe désormais en vitrines et rien de plus magique pour Noel chez Levis ou chez French Connection, à chacun son accroche!

Colorful bulbs are displayed in the holiday windows this season: they are magical and fun at Levis and French Connection. Each store chose its own way to hang them...

Les pingouins de Puma et Joseph

Ah, Noel est aussi le froid et donc pourquoi ne pas exposer des pingouins en vitrines! Joseph et Puma ont fait ce choix: traditionnel ou en couleurs, à chacun son pingouin!

On December, the weather is cold, isn't it? So, it seems obvious to display penguins in the windows at that time! Joseph and Puma chose them: they can be traditionnal or colorful penguins. They are fun and make people laugh...

Welcome to Anthropologie London

Enfin, Anthropologie, mon magasin préféré de NYC, a ouvert ses portes à Londres! Et voici une visite guidée dans ce concept store où tout donne envie! Achat séduction par excellence, vitrines de rêve, une belle réussite pour le groupe Urban Outfitters Inc.

I'm very happy to discover my New York favorite store in London: Anthropologie. I want to buy everything! I even would like the furniture and presentation bases! It's a great succeed for Urban Oufitters Inc . First, I stopped in front of the snow windows with animals and wood and then I took a very long walk inside the store...Let's go !

Au rez- de-chaussée, d'abord, des tables de présentation parfaitement décorées...

At the first floor, perfect display tables with everything you need and don't need...

Un peu plus loin, des facings avec au dessus des cadres en quinconce, nouvelle présentation actuelle très tendance....

Close to this table, there are clothes displayed on facings with this new trend presentation for picture frames...

Montons maintenant ...un mur végétal à couper le souffle...

Now, let's go upstairs...On the right, there is an amazing vegetal wall that took my breath away!

Tous les produits nécessaires pour la maison: chambre et salon à cet étage avec toujours des vêtements et des accessoires pour femmes... et des lustres impressionnants en tissu!

There is everything you need for your living room and bedroom on this floor. And, you will also find women clothes and accessories. Take a look at these surprising fabric chandeliers.

Redescendons..le mur est toujours aussi impressionnant et les lustres...fabuleux, colorés et imposants...je veux m'installer ici!

Let's go dowstairs...The vegetal wall is even more spectacular.And, the chandeliers are colorful, wonderful and lofty. I'm astonished! I want to live here!

Trop mignons ces moutons aux pieds des bustes pour une composition hivernale...

These sheep are cute, aren't they? And, they are perfect to complete this mannequin display and give a winter touch!

Et nous voilà au sous-sol pour découvrir l'univers de la cuisine mais toujours avec des vêtements bien entendu et un cin spécial avec des soldes. Génial! Des idées de décoration pour la maison se profilent....

And, here is the basement where you can discover the kitchen products. Of course, there are always women clothes and a special area with sales. I'm sure, you have many ideas to decorate your home, now!
